FTSA Roadmap for 2020-21 AY

Launch program to pair Year 1 students of BASc (FinTech) program with the Year 2 students. Program lasts year-round.

AUGUST

Collaborate with partners to host activities year-round in three areas: Academic, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

Run discount/giveaway events to members who preorder FTSA merchandise and host fun online activies to attract more members.

Publication of the first issue of HKU FinTech Student Association’s official magazine, Ledgersight.

Second welfare week of the year including setting up physical booths, selling merchandise, other goodies and more activities!

Deadline for submission of FinTech Cup proposals by participants.

All submissions would be reviewed by the panel of judges and the finalists would be announced.

Publication of the second issue of HKU FinTech Student Association’s official magazine, Ledgersight.

A day camp for all finalists of the FinTech Cup to gain better insights into the FinTech industry and revise their proposal.

A field trip would be organized for the winners of the FinTech Cup to spend time with our industry partners and gain working experience in the field.

A camp for the new cohort of BASc(FinTech) students to get to know each other and prepare for the university life.
